Brandon Bye, who wore #20 for Minneapolis City in 2017, was chosen by New England Revolution with the eighth pick of the MLS SuperDraft.

It was an incredible year for Bye. Not only did he get to turn out for the Mighty Crows, where he made a mark on his debut with a goal and an assist in his debut, but he led his Western Michigan team to a conference title, NCAA run, was a Herman Trophy Semifinalist and was NCAA Scholar Athlete of the Year. And, of course, he was drafted by the Revs.

“When we were presented with the opportunity to bring Brandon into our team last summer we knew we had a special talent joining us both on and off the field.  His accolades during his final year in college only confirm that. We are excited for him as a player to be given the chance to show what he can do at MLS level, and it really highlights the type of players that our league provides a proving ground for in the sport” said Jon Bisswurm, Sporting Director.
