GAMEDAY OPERATIONS INTERN

POSITION SUMMARY

The Minneapolis City Gameday Operations Intern assists with gameday operations to ensure a memorable, and safe, fan experience. The intern assists the Operations Team with stadium preparedness and preservation, event activation, and functional needs as they arise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •     Assist with set-up and breakdown of gamedays and special events
  •     Work with Operations Department to ensure guest needs are met
  •     (active liaison for groups / ticket sales) how to word it better
  •     Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  •     Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Management, Public Relations, Event Planning, Sports Management, or other related field
  •     Proven leadership abilities and skills
  •     Must be 18 years of age or older
  •     Bilingual speaking abilities a plus
  •     Strong cloud-based document sharing skills
  •     Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar
  •     Must have personal computer and access to the Internet

  •     Required to stand and walk for long periods of time
  •     Frequent stooping, bending, pulling and pushing
  •     Required to talk and listen consistently
  •     Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to fifty (50) pounds if necessary
  •     Will be working in various outdoor Minnesota weather conditions
  •     Will be required to do light traveling around the Minneapolis city area
  •     Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends
