SOUTH MPLS FOOD DRIVE CONTINUES

Founded to serve to the community, the club has been active in South Minneapolis and the Food Drive and Pop-up Pantry will continue on Saturday June 13 at The Club Shop.

For the past two weekends, the shop has been a place for people in the neighborhood to donate and to take food and other essentials.

“This is our neighborhood and we want to help our neighbors. How could we not?” – Sarah Schreier, lead organizer

The Food Drive has been and will continue to be staffed by club players, coaches, volunteers and partner organizations like TC Sol futsal club.

“We’re a community club, made up of people from the community, so of course we all want to be actively helping. This is our home.” – Adam Pribyl, General Manager (and South resident)

We will continue to take donations of food and essential items (like diapers, wipers, paper towels, toilet paper, etc) from 10am – 4pm and will be hosting a pop-up food pantry where people can come and pick up what they and their families need.
